ZSB 2022

UAP Sculpture Branch Bucharest is a professional union of sculptors which has around 300 members in Bucharest only and has a remarkable history dating back to the beginning of the last century. Our organization joins the programs that, internationally, celebrate the International Sculpture Day (an initiative of the International Sculpture Center in the USA) on April 25, 2020. In 2020 with the support of MONUMENT for - General Directorate of Landscape Architecture and Monuments we started the making of the International Sculpture Day, but the pandemic stopped us. On this occasion we launched this website, which presents the work of 89 sculptors from the 306 members of the UAP Sculpture Branch Bucharest. After two years in 2022 , we finally can join You with Bucharest Sculpture Day ( Zilele Sculpturii București) 1 rst edition, held on 16,17,18 April 2022. This event was held by City Hall Bucharest through MONUMENT for - General Directorate of Landscape Architecture and Monuments. MONUMENT for manages the monumental heritage of Bucharest, a unique institution at national level through its objectives and concerns, established in 1999, with a developing professional structure, responding to the specific needs of a city in continuous dynamics and development.
